Section 6 – Fulfillment Logistics and Payment Acquiring
Once your order ships, you will receive a confirmation email containing the specific order details and a tracking number. Delivery is charged at a flat rate of R160.00 nationwide. All orders are dispatched via our designated couriers and typically arrive within 2 to 5 working days, provided that the product is fully in stock. You will be required to sign for delivery, and we recommend providing a daytime address where someone is available to sign between 9am and 5pm. If the recipient is unavailable, the parcel may be left with an authorised representative at the property. We do not deliver to P.O. Boxes.
While every reasonable effort is made to ensure safe and timely delivery, SYCAL (Pty) Ltd accepts no liability for third-party courier delays, loss, or damage in transit once goods have left our premises.
Payment options accepted on our platform include Visa and MasterCard. Card transactions will be securely acquired for Sycal (Pty) Ltd via Payfast, who are the approved payment gateway for South African acquiring banks. Our payment partners utilise strict encryption protocols, and no sensitive card details are stored directly on the Sycal website. Customer registration profiles will be stored by Sycal (Pty) Ltd separately from the secure payment environment. The merchant outlet country is South Africa, and the primary transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR).
Section 7 – Warranties, Indemnification, and Governing Law
We do not guarantee, represent, or warrant that your use of our service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. You expressly agree that your use of, or inability to use, the service is at your sole risk. The service and all products delivered to you are provided “as is” and “as available” for your use, without any representation, warranties, or conditions of any kind, either express or implied.
In no case shall Sycal (Pty) Ltd, our directors, officers, employees, or affiliates be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages of any kind arising from your use of the service or any products procured. You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Sycal (Pty) Ltd from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your breach of these Terms of Service.
